Is the 9' Overhead Door Bulb Bottom Seal P Style exactly 9' or does it come a little long? I think I need 9'-1 1/2"

We cut all our bottom seals about 4 inches longer so they can be trimmed to the exact size.

My door is 16 feet. If I order extra, can it be cut. I want to make sure there are no holes at the ends
