How do I program a MCT-1 remote?

How to program a Linear MCT-1 Remote

Follow these steps to program to a garage door opener or gate.  If you are using an access system refer to your access system manual or contact your administrator.

1.  Locate the garage door openers learn button.

2.  Press and release the learn button.  The opener light will flash for 15 seconds.

3.  Press and release the remote button.  The opener light will flash.

4.  The remote is now programmed.  Press the remote to test it.

How to erase all radio controls from a garage door opener or gate

1.  Locate the garage door openers learn button.

2.  Press and hold the learn button for 10 seconds.  The opener light will flash three times.

3.  Reprogram any radio controls you still want to use.

How to change a Linear MCT-1 battery

1.  Pop open the bottom back of the remote.  You may need to loosen the visor clip and turn it out of the way.

2.  Remove the 9V battery and install a new one. 

3.  Test the remote.  If the remote does not work it will need to be reprogrammed.

4.  Properly dispose of the old battery.
