Is opening the garage door strictly dependent on Wifi only? What if my Wifi goes out, as Xfinity internet in our community went down for 20 hours yesterday. Thank you for you answer (note: my prior garage door opener was hardwired into the electrical system, so all I needed for backup was my Tesla Powerwall.)

Hi, the LiftMaster 87504-267 comes with remotes and a keypad you use to open/close the door. The build in wifi will work too but is typically a secondary option that gives your visibility when no one is home.
