Is the 8" wide measurement actually referring to the Height ? My Bracket is 6"1/4 Tall , 5" Wide, 3"3/8 from Bolt flange to center . Will these work for my installation .Thank for any info you can provide.

These end plates are 8 gauge and 8" tall. They're 3 3/8" offset from the wall to center of the hole.
