The Digi-Code DC5040 keychain remote is a mini garage door or gate remote. This keychain garage door opener remote is used when a garage door opener uses a Multi-Code external receiver. The DC5040 mini remote is also used with gate openers that use a Multi-Code receiver.

Compatible with Multi-Code 300 MHz 10 switch receivers.

Programming & Troubleshooting Tip

The "Switch Reversal" Rule: If you are using a Digi-Code remote to operate a Multi-Code receiver (or vice versa), the switch positions are often reversed.

  • Multi-Code: "UP" is usually "ON".
  • Digi-Code: "DOWN" is usually "ON".

If your new remote does not work after matching the switches exactly, try reversing them (toggle all UP switches to DOWN, and all DOWN switches to UP).
