The Genie GM3T GenieMaster Remote is a three-button garage door opener transmitter designed for reliable control of up to three Genie openers or receivers. Engineered as a replacement and upgrade solution, it supports Genie Intellicode rolling code systems (Intellicode I and II) as well as legacy Genie fixed-code units that use 9- or 12-position DIP switches. The remote operates on Genie’s dual-frequency technology (315/390 MHz) to help reduce interference and improve performance, and when paired with Intellicode openers it provides rolling code security that changes with every press.
Compatible with most Genie residential garage door openers manufactured since 1993, the GM3T offers two simple setup paths: use the Learn/Program button on the opener for Intellicode models, or match the internal switch settings to your existing receiver for 9- or 12-switch fixed-code systems. Each of the three buttons can be programmed to a different door or gate, making it a versatile replacement remote for households with multiple Genie operators. For safety, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, erase lost remotes from the opener’s memory when adding new ones, and keep transmitters out of reach of children.
