The Hörmann HS4 Hand Remote 315 MHz is a four-button handheld transmitter designed for operating compatible Hörmann garage door and gate openers that use the 315 MHz radio frequency common to the North American market. Each button can control a separate door, gate, or function, making it a practical replacement remote or add-on transmitter for homes, multi-bay garages, and small commercial installations where multiple operators need to be managed from a single fob. Its compact form factor is intended for everyday carry, and the integrated indicator light confirms signal transmission during use.

Engineered for systems that specifically specify 315 MHz, this HS4 remote pairs to the opener’s built-in receiver through a standard learn/program process at the operator head; refer to your Hörmann opener manual for exact enrollment steps. It is not cross-compatible with Hörmann 433 or 868 MHz (including many European/BiSecur) models or with other brands’ radio systems. Typical applications include residential garage doors and light-duty gate operators where a secure, radio-enrolled handheld transmitter is required. For safe operation, only activate the door or gate when it is in full view and free of obstructions, and keep transmitters out of reach of children.

Press and hold the “P” button. The LED starts flashing slowly. Continue to hold the button until the LED flashes rapidly and then stops flashing and an audible signal sounds. All radio codes are now deleted.
