LiftMaster 371LM is a single button remote used to operate a garage door opener. The 371LM uses Security+ rolling code technology which sends a new code with every use. The code sent is randomly selected from over 100 billion options to make it nearly impossible to duplicate your remote signal. This remote features enhanced radio technology (ERT) which gives you better range.
Compatible with Chamberlain, Craftsman, LiftMaster and other private label models made from 2005 - current that have a purple learn button.

How to program a LiftMaster 371LM remote
1. Locate the purple learn button on your garage door opener. If you have a two light model the button will be under one of the light lens. If you have a single light model the button will be on the opposite side of the light.
2. Press and release the purple learn button and the LED will light for 30 seconds.
3. Press and hold the remote button until the opener light flashes or you hear two clicks then release the button. The remote should now be programmed. Test the remote to make sure it operates the garage door opener.
How to program a LiftMaster 371LM to control the garage door opener lights (the garage door opener must have a multi-function wall control installed).
1. Make sure the garage door is closed.
2. Press and hold the remote button and the light control button on the wall control in at the same time.
3. While holding in the buttons in step 2 press and hold the lock button on the wall control.
4. The garage door opener lights should flash. Test the remote to make sure it turns the lights on/off without opening the garage door.
How to erase a LiftMaster 371LM from the garage door opener's memory.
1. Press and hold the purple learn button on the garage door opener until the LED light goes out. All radio controls have been erased from the garage door opener. Any radio controls you wish to use will have to be reprogrammed.
