The LiftMaster 041DJ002 is a genuine OEM logic board designed to restore and control select LiftMaster DC motor garage door openers that are equipped with myQ smart control, Security+ 2.0 encrypted radio, and support for an automatic garage door lock accessory. As the central control module, it manages motor operation, soft start/stop, lighting, sensors, and wireless accessories, returning the opener to proper function after a control board failure or surge event. It is intended for compatible residential operators using photoelectric safety sensors and myQ connectivity for remote monitoring and control.
This replacement board supports Security+ 2.0 tri-band remote technology (commonly 310/315/390 MHz) for improved range and interference immunity, and it pairs with modern LiftMaster transmitters and keypads such as the 891LM/893LM and 877LM series; legacy non–2.0 remotes are not supported. Where the host operator is designed for it, the board also supports the 841LM automatic deadbolt lock. Installation requires disconnecting power, swapping the board in the opener head, transferring all harnesses and sensor leads one-to-one, and then reprogramming travel limits, force settings, remotes, keypads, and re-linking myQ. After installation, verify correct operation of the safety reversing system per UL 325 and confirm photo eye alignment. Compatibility should be verified by matching the 041DJ002 part number to the original board or the operator’s parts list; this board is not universal.
