This 893MAX remote supports the common learn button colors found on compatible openers—Yellow (Security+ 2.0), Purple (Security+ 315 MHz), Red/Orange (Security+ 390 MHz), and Green (Billion Code 390 MHz)—and automatically uses the correct frequency for the paired device. Tri-band capability covers 310, 315, and 390 MHz systems for broad compatibility and improved range. Programming is performed at the opener or receiver by pressing its Learn button and then the desired button on the remote; certain older models may require an additional press sequence per the manual. The remote includes a visor clip and an installed 3V CR2032 battery, with an indicator LED to confirm operation.
