The Stinger 310MCD21V is a single-button handheld transmitter engineered as a direct replacement for older Stanley garage door openers and gate operators that use a 310 MHz fixed code with 10 DIP switches. Designed for straightforward compatibility, it sends a 310 MHz RF signal and works with Stanley receivers and operators that rely on 10-position on/off switch programming. This makes it a practical compatible remote for replacing lost or aging transmitters on legacy systems in residential or light commercial applications.
Programming is simple: open the remote, match the internal 10 DIP switch positions to an existing working transmitter or to the receiver’s code switch bank, and test operation at the door or gate. As a fixed-code transmitter, it is not compatible with rolling-code or learn-button-only systems. Typical use cases include operating sectional garage doors, swing or slide gates, and barrier arms equipped with Stanley 310 MHz, 10-switch logic boards. For safe operation, keep transmitters out of the reach of children and ensure the door or gate area is clear before activation.
