The FALCON EX uses microwave Doppler radar technology with bidirectional, unidirectional approach, and unidirectional depart detection options. The sensor can discriminate between pedestrian and vehicular traffic and includes adjustable filtering modes to reduce false activations from parallel traffic. Standard models support mounting heights from 11.5 feet to 23 feet, while XL versions are available for lower mounting installations. Available specifications list dimensions of approximately 9 in. x 7.5 in. x 5.5 in., power consumption under 2W, and compatibility with 12-24VAC/DC power supplies.
