The MMTC HERCULES motion detector is a microwave-based activation sensor designed for commercial and industrial overhead doors, gates, and high-speed access applications. Using Doppler radar technology with a planar module, the HERCULES provides reliable motion detection while supporting advanced traffic differentiation between pedestrians and vehicles for improved automation control.
The detector supports mounting heights from 6'6" to 23' and includes a weather-resistant NEMA 4/IP65-rated housing for demanding indoor and outdoor environments. Additional features include two independently programmable outputs, cross-traffic masking, pulse-on-exit functionality, and compatibility with the optional MMTC REMOTE-H programming remote. The unit includes a 23-foot cable and operates on 12-28VDC or 12-26VAC power.
