The LiftMaster 365LM Security+ 315MHz Plug-in Receiver is a single-channel external radio receiver that adds LiftMaster’s Security+ rolling code control to most garage door openers and gate operators. Designed as an easy upgrade or replacement part, it plugs into a standard 120V outlet and connects to the operator’s wall-button terminals using a simple dry-contact output, allowing you to add remote control where the built-in radio is missing, incompatible, or has failed. Security+ rolling code technology at 315 MHz helps reduce code-grabbing risks, and setup is straightforward with an onboard Learn button and status indicator.
This universal-style receiver is compatible with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Craftsman Security+ 315 MHz transmitters such as the 370-series remotes (e.g., 371LM, 372LM, 373LM) and compatible wireless keypads using the same protocol. It is not compatible with Security+ 2.0 (yellow Learn button, tri-band) or older 390 MHz-only Security+ devices. The receiver’s momentary, normally open relay output controls a single door, gate, or barrier input, making it suitable for residential or light commercial applications. Install indoors near the operator, route the antenna for clear reception, wire the COM and NO terminals to the wall control inputs, and power the unit with the included plug-in adapter. For safety, disconnect operator power before wiring and confirm that required photo-eyes and other entrapment protections are properly installed and functioning.
