Using Security+ 2.0 encrypted rolling-code technology and tri-band transmission at 310/315/390 MHz, it delivers strong, consistent performance while helping reduce interference for better range. Each button can control a separate garage door opener, gate operator, or compatible receiver, making it a practical replacement remote, spare, or upgrade for residential and light commercial applications. An indicator LED provides feedback during operation and programming, and a visor clip is included for easy in-vehicle use.

The 895MAX is broadly compatible with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, and Craftsman openers manufactured since 1993 that feature a Learn button, including Security+ 2.0 (yellow Learn button), Security+ 315 MHz (purple), Security+ 390 MHz (red/orange), and Billion Code (green). Programming is quick: press the opener’s Learn button, then press the desired button on the remote to pair; repeat for additional devices. This remote is not intended for pre-1993 DIP-switch openers.
