The LiftMaster OES-RDCK Rolling Door Edge Connection Kit is a factory accessory designed to connect a monitored sensing edge on a rolling steel door, grille, or shutter to compatible LiftMaster commercial door operators. Used as part of a UL 325 compliant entrapment protection system, this connection kit provides the dedicated wiring and door-side components needed to bring a bottom safety edge signal into the operator’s monitored edge input. It is ideal for new installations or as a replacement/retrofit solution when upgrading a rolling door to a monitored safety edge for close protection.
Engineered for rolling-door travel and routing, the OES-RDCK supports integration with LiftMaster operators that accept a monitored safety edge via the OES/external edge terminals and control logic. When installed, the sensing edge (sold separately) communicates a reversal/stop command if the door encounters an obstruction during closing, helping meet commercial and industrial safety requirements. Installation involves mounting the door-side connection hardware, routing the cord to the operator head, landing the leads on the monitored edge input, and programming the operator to recognize the monitored edge type per the operator’s manual. Typical applications include warehouses, loading docks, parking facilities, and retail grilles.
