The LiftMaster 375UT Universal Transmitter is a two-button visor remote designed to replace or add a garage door opener remote for multi-brand households and mixed systems. Each button can be programmed to a different opener or gate receiver, allowing you to control two separate devices from one compact remote. Built for broad compatibility, it works with most major North American residential garage door openers and gate operators manufactured since 1993 that use a learn/program button and compliant safety reversing sensors. Common brands supported include LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, Genie, Overhead Door, Linear, Stanley, and Wayne-Dalton, making it a practical upgrade or replacement part for a wide range of installations.
The 375UT uses a multi-frequency radio platform to communicate with popular rolling code and fixed code systems across the commonly used 300–400 MHz bands, including 310, 315, 318, 372.5, and 390 MHz. Setup is straightforward: put your opener or receiver into learn mode, then use the remote’s Program button to select the correct brand/code set and sync; on legacy systems it can also be trained per the brand-specific steps in the user manual. The remote provides LED feedback during programming, includes a visor clip for convenient in-vehicle use, and can serve as a universal replacement for lost or broken remotes or as an additional transmitter for family vehicles. For safe operation, use only with properly installed and functioning photo-eye sensors, keep remotes out of reach of children, and confirm compatibility with your opener’s model and learn-button type before programming.
