Overhead Commercial 3 3/8" ID torsion springs are used for most Overhead brand medium size commercial doors.  At Moving Up Garage Door company we carry a full line of 3 3/8" ID torsion springs.  It is critical to have the correct size springs in order to maintain a properly balanced garage door.  When ordering replacement springs make sure to use the "How to Measure" section of this page.  This will ensure you get the correct springs.  Please do not guess which springs the garage door needs.  The door will not balance properly and may cause damage or injury.

WARNING: Torsion springs, extension springs, and related door hardware can cause serious injury or death if not handled and installed properly. Professional installation is recommended.

Do NOT attempt to install springs or hardware yourself unless you have the proper tools, reasonable mechanical aptitude and experience, and upper arm strength. Read and understand all instructions before you begin work.

Extension and torsion springs, along with attached hardware, are under extreme tension at all times. All tension must be released from springs before any work is performed.

There are two ways to get the correct torsion springs for a garage door.  Method one requires you to measure the garage doors existing springs.  Use this method if the door worked properly before the springs broke and the garage door has not been altered.  Method two requires you to measure and weigh the garage door.  Use this method if the garage door does not balance correctly, the garage door has been altered or you think the garage door has the wrong springs.
