The Monarch FLA318LIPW4K is a four-button key chain remote designed for Linear MegaCode systems operating at 318 MHz. Built for garage doors, gate operators, and access control receivers using the MegaCode learning format, each button can be programmed to a separate channel or device, making it a practical replacement or upgrade for multi-door residential or commercial applications. The transmitter uses a unique, factory-programmed ID that is learned into the receiver, eliminating DIP switches and reducing code conflicts common with older fixed-code remotes.

This remote is compatible with most Linear/AEI MegaCode 318 MHz receivers and operators (such as MDR, MGR/MGR-2, RGR, and many LDO/LSO operator controls) that accept learned transmitters in the MegaCode format; it is not compatible with Linear Delta-3 (310 MHz), Multi-Code (300 MHz), or other non-MegaCode systems. Typical programming requires placing the receiver into Learn/Add mode and pressing the desired button on the remote until the receiver confirms enrollment. Use in accordance with standard door and gate safety practices: only operate when the opening is in view and clear of people or vehicles, and keep remotes out of reach of children. This Monarch model is widely used as a dependable replacement remote for Linear MegaCode installations where a compact, four-channel key fob is required.
