Serving as the backbone of the torsion assembly, it transfers spring torque to the cable drums at each end to lift and lower the door smoothly and keep it balanced. The galvanized finish helps resist corrosion in typical garage environments, and the 16 gauge wall provides the rigidity needed for dependable operation over repeated cycles.
Designed for compatibility with EZ-Set torsion components, this 4-foot tube integrates with the EZ-Set winding mechanism, springs, cable drums, and center/end bearing plates commonly found on Clopay residential doors.
