Engineered for Genie openers that use the Series II wall control interface, the GBWCSL2-BX connects to the opener’s low-voltage control terminals and is powered by the opener—no batteries required. Installation is straightforward: disconnect power to the opener, run low-voltage control wire to the console location, connect to the opener’s designated wall control terminals and to the console, mount within sight of the door, and restore power. No programming is typically required beyond reactivating Sure-Lock as desired. For safety and compliance, mount the control at least 5 ft (1.5 m) above the floor and only where the door is fully visible during operation. Compatibility is limited to Genie models that specifically call for a Series II wall console; it is not interchangeable with Series III or legacy non-Series II systems.
