The Genie GK-BX Intellicode Wireless Keypad is an exterior-mount access solution for Genie Intellicode garage door openers, allowing secure, keyless entry with a personal PIN. Designed for easy, wireless installation and everyday convenience, it uses Genie’s Intellicode rolling-code security to change the access code with every press, helping prevent unauthorized entry. The weather-resistant, flip-up cover and backlit keypad make it suitable for outdoor residential applications and easy to use day or night. It’s an ideal replacement keypad or upgrade for compatible Genie systems when adding keypad control to an existing opener.

This keypad is engineered for Genie Intellicode I and II openers, typically compatible with Genie residential models produced since the mid-1990s. The dual-frequency 315/390 MHz transmission helps reduce interference for reliable operation, and the unit is battery-powered for flexible placement without wiring. Programming is straightforward using the opener’s “Learn” button and a user-selected PIN, and many Intellicode models allow the keypad to operate more than one door when programmed to each opener head. For proper operation and safety, use only with functioning Genie openers equipped with required photoelectric reversing sensors, install where the door is visible when operating, and keep the PIN confidential.
