The Genie GWC-2WBL Series II Wall Control is a wired, multi-function wall console designed for Genie garage door openers that use the Series II three-wire wall control interface. It provides convenient in-garage operation of the door and opener light from a dedicated wall station, with an easy-to-see backlit push button for daily use. A built-in Sure-Lock (vacation lock) feature disables wireless remotes and keypads when engaged, adding an extra layer of security when you’re away. This makes the GWC-2WBL an ideal replacement wall control for restoring full functionality to compatible Genie systems or upgrading from a basic doorbell-style button to a true multi-function console.

This Series II wall console connects directly to the opener’s low-voltage terminals using three conductors (typically red, white, and black) and does not require batteries or wireless programming—just correct wiring to the opener head. It is intended for residential applications and is compatible only with Genie operators that specifically support Series II wall controls; it is not interchangeable with Series III or other non-Series II wall stations. For proper operation, match the console to an opener labeled for Series II and verify three terminal connections on the motor unit. Installation notes include disconnecting power to the opener before wiring, routing low-voltage bell wire to the console location, and mounting the control within sight of the door and out of reach of children. When Sure-Lock is enabled, the wall button continues to operate the door, while wireless remotes and keypad access are temporarily disabled.
