The AW14-RF-K10 Wireless Air-Wave Edge System utilizes air pressure, via an airwave sensing edge, to activate a diaphragm contact within the wireless transmitter switch. This contact converts the pressure wave into an electrical contact, which alerts the operator to stop and/or reverse when there is an obstruction. Air-wave systems are specially designed for doors and can withstand colder temperatures and high vibration environments due to their adjustable sensitivity. AW14-RF-K10 eliminates the need to hardwire coil cords and retracting reels, which saves installation and maintenance time.
