The Clima-GUARD safety device combines an ME112 electric sensing edge and a loop seal all in one. The purpose is to provide a weather seal for doors having uneven floors, and to reduce the risk of damaging the sensing edge from over-compression. Clima-GUARD was designed for use on 2” sectional doors and is custom manufactured to required length and outlet location.
Clima-GUARD provides the protection of an ANSI/UL325 Recognized ME112 sensing edge. When touch activated, the internal sensor sends a signal to the motor to stop and/or reverse motion. The sensing edge is wrapped in a loop seal, which helps prolong the life of the sensing edge and fill any unwanted gaps created by uneven flooring.
