The Miller Edge MGO20 Three-Sided Sensing Edge is engineered as a versatile, touch-sensitive safety edge for automated gates, doors and industrial machinery. Its compact extruded PVC profile and patented Alumaglas™ contact element provide reliable obstruction detection while keeping the installation footprint small. Custom manufactured to user specifications, the MGO20 can be ordered to exact length, in black or OSHA yellow, with outlet locations on the left, right, or end of the edge to match the operator wiring layout.
Designed as a slide-in style edge, the MGO20 installs quickly into compatible PVC or aluminum mounting channels and can be mounted either vertically or horizontally on slide gate draw-in posts, pockets, pivot points, barrier arms and similar pinch-point locations. When the edge is contacted, the normally open circuit closes and sends a signal to the control system to stop or reverse travel. With three-sided activation, a sealed assembly impervious to dust and debris, and operating temperature from -30°F to +155°F, the MGO20 delivers long-term, UL 325–recognized safety performance in demanding environments.
