The Miller Edge MGS20-K-2U-04 Three-Sided Sensing Edge is engineered for gate and door systems that require dependable, wrap-around obstruction detection on 2″ square posts. Its unique three-sided activation profile ensures that contact from the front or either side of the edge is detected — providing enhanced safety compared to single-surface edges. Because the design wraps directly around the gate post, no separate mounting channel is needed, making installation simpler and preserving the aesthetic of the gate.
Constructed with sturdy extruded PVC base and a flexible PVC cover with Alumaglas™ contact element, the MGS20 is built to withstand repeated gate cycles and outdoor exposure. It is custom-manufactured to required length (with 1/4″ increments available), can be mounted vertically or horizontally, and is compatible with a range of gate types — sliding gates, swinging gates, or bi-parting gates.
