The Miller Edge MGS20-K10-2U-04-T2 Monitored Sensing Edge Kit is engineered for automated gate systems requiring robust, monitored safety edges mounted on 2″ square posts. Its wrap-around extrusion installs directly onto the gate post, eliminating the need for additional mounting channels and preserving the gate’s clean appearance. Upon contact — whether on the front or either side — the built-in 10 KΩ resistor closes the circuit and sends a stop or reverse signal to the gate operator, helping prevent entrapment or damage.
Constructed from durable extruded PVC housing with an Alumaglas™ contact element, the MGS20 edge is designed to endure regular use and harsh outdoor conditions. It supports standard and custom lengths (manufactured to nearest 1/4 in up to 10 ft), and can be installed vertically or horizontally to fit a wide range of gate configurations.
